This gem makes a bold statement in the garden with 6' deep purple petioles (stalks) leading to 3' long giant green leaves with a slight hazy purple cast. The 1' tall yellow flowers have a wonderful papaya-like fragrance. Although it sends out wild looking runners, it has been very slow to spread.
