Common Name:

 

Flower Description: 4 to 4½ inch white with red stripes and red lip

 

Background Information: The plant which was cloned was grown and selected by Owens Orchids, LLC, of Pisgah Forest, NC. They have been growers and hybridizers of quality orchids since 1961.

 

Applications:

This is an excellent indoor flowering pot plant.

 

Pot Size and Finish Time:

Best for 6 to 8 inch pot sizes and will finish in 10 to 12 months.

 

Culture:

Light:  800 to 1200 foot candles.

Temperature: Day and night temperatures of 95° / 75° for vegetative growth , 82° / 65° to initiate bloom spiking.

Soil / Watering:  Use a well draining mix; keep evenly moist but not wet. Long fiber sphagnum moss works well.

Fertilizer:  Liquid feed with complete fertilizer at 125 to 200 ppm (N), with each irrigation.

 

Pest/Disease Problems:

Preventative spray for insect pests. Employ good sanitation practices to avoid fungal & bacterial pathogens, preventive drench to control root rot.
