Ornamental Features:
An
attractive flowering pot plant with chocolate scented dark cherry blooms with white
lips. A mature plant can have up to 300 flowers on multiple spikes and can
bloom twice a year.
Applications:
This
is an excellent indoor flowering pot plant.
Pot Size and Finish Time:
Best
suited for a 6” pot size and will finish in 8 to 10 months.
Culture:
Light: 1000 to 2000 foot candles.
Temperature: Day and night temperatures of 95° - 65°. To initiate spikes the night temperature should be 60° to 65°.
Soil
/ Watering:
Use a well draining mix, keep evenly moist but not
wet.
Fertilizer: Liquid feed with complete fertilizer at 125 - 200 ppm (N) with each
irrigation.
Pest/Disease Problems:
Preventative spray for insect pests. Employ good
sanitation practices to avoid fungal and bacterial pathogens, preventative drench
to control root rot.
