Spot’ is a low growing herbaceous perennial with highly patterned foliage. It has medium green leaves that have a silver
and bronze brush stroke pattern. Blooms
are light purple with white centers. It
will reach a height of about 12 inches. Kaempferia naturally go dormant from
November to March.
Applications:
This
plant is excellent as a specimen plant for shaded landscapes or as a patio pot
plant. ‘Silver Spot’ is a good substitute for Hosta in the
