has large, upright red-orange
blooms and dark green leaves with maroon undersides
and midrib. It will reach a mature height of 3 to 5 feet. The bloom period is
typically June through November.
Applications:
This
plant is well suited for partially shaded to full sun landscapes in warm climates.
It can also be used as a patio pot plant or as a long-lasting cut flower.
Pot Size and Finish Time:
Best
suited for a 10” pot size and will finish in 6 to 8 months.

Light: 30% to 50% shade
Temperature: 60° - 95° F
Soil / Watering: Use a well draining
professional mix that is slightly acidic, keep evenly moist.
Fertilizer: Liquid feed with
complete fertilizer at 200-250 ppm (N), weekly. Supplement with magnesium
sulfate at 1/4 pound per 100 gallons once per month. For top dress or soil
incorporation, follow label rates for medium to heavy feeders.
Pest/Disease Problems:
Preventative spray for insect
pests. Employ good sanitation practices to avoid fungal
and bacterial pathogens, preventative drench to control root disease.
