Ornamental Features:
This
Heliconia has large, upright orange blooms and dark green leaves with maroon petioles.
This variety will reach a mature height of 3 to 4 feet.
Applications:
This
plant is well suited for partially shaded landscapes in warm climates. It can
also be used as a patio pot plant or as a long-lasting cut flower.

suited for a 10” pot size and will finish in 6 to 8 months.

Soil / Watering: Use a well draining
professional mix that is slightly acidic, keep evenly moist.
Fertilizer: Liquid feed with
complete fertilizer at 200-250 ppm (N), weekly. Supplement with magnesium
sulfate at 1/4 pound per 100 gallons once per month. For top dress or soil
incorporation, follow label rates for medium to heavy feeders.
Pest/Disease Problems:
Preventative spray for insect
pests. Employ good sanitation practices to avoid fungal
